Over the past few weeks I've been moving towards ending semi-intensive therapy. I say semi-intensive because I could've ended a while ago, but complications came to view. I have been with my current therapist for about 18 months now, which is more then they usually do. The organization does short-term, intensive therapy lasting 4-6 months most of the time.

First of all, I know it's been a while, but this was an important post, and I wanted to get it right. Not to mention I've been pretty busy. Without further ado, read on!
So a few weeks ago I had a meeting with the director of DHS. For those of you not in Oregon, DHS stands for Department of Human Resources. DHS is the department that does welfare, child protective services, among other things. Anyway, if you are in Oregon, DHS recently got a new director. I had my first therapy session when I was 5 years old. My Mom had just relapsed into using drugs again, so my Step-Mom and Dad took me to a therapist named Maggie. She tried a few things to help me cope with my anger issues, which were already developing. She tried all the classics, deep breaths, counting backwards from 20, among others.
